It’s also home to theme parks such as Dreamworld, Sea World and Wet’n’Wild. Inland, hiking trails crisscross Lamington National Park’s mountain ridges and valleys, home to rare birds and rainforest. On arrival transfer to your Hotel & rest of the day you are free to relax or explore the white-sandy beaches of Gold Coast (on own). Found only in Australia and New Zealand, glow worms are rare and fascinating creatures. After a night time bushwalk through the Gondwana Rainforest, you will arrive at a cave illuminated by breathtakingly beautiful light. If weather permits, you will experience a star gazing session to study the famous constellations of the Southern Hemisphere from the sparsely lit mountains. Explore the subtropical Gondwana Rainforest of Australia in the still darkness with your very own torch in hand. Set yourself apart from modern suburbia and experience this otherworldly atmosphere with all your 5 senses; the whistle of a gust through the leaves, the beautiful sounds of abundant wildlife that surround, the feeling of gentle spray from the waterfall on your skin and the dim of life that emanates all around. The Natural Bridge is home to Australia’s largest population of glow worms. They cover the cave ceilings and are often referred to as nature’s very own planetarium. See for yourself the fascinating art that these diminutive creatures come together to create. Escape the city’s light pollution and find yourself immersed deep in the Australian Rainforest looking up into a never ending sky full of Stars of the Southern Hemisphere. Using a star torch, you and your guide will study and trace the constellations of the southern hemisphere sky. Depending on the season, you may be able to see a beautiful display of the famous Southern Cross. The distant, cosmic stars will put on the very same display which charmed the ancients back in the day.

Day 5

| Gold Coast

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has been conserving native wildlife and nurturing the local indigenous heritage for over 70 years. This regional treasure has also been educating and entertaining families and tourists from all across the globe. So naturally, the animal attraction is at the heart of Gold Coast history. You’d be hard pressed to find a local who hasn’t experienced the renowned wild rainbow lorikeet feeding. But over the decades, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has, more importantly, served as a haven to a myriad of native Australian animals — big, small, flourishing and endangered. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, officially renamed in 1995, is now a heritage-listed zoological garden set across 27 hectares of natural eucalyptus-rich bushland and rainforest. The park was deemed to be of great importance to the evolution of the state’s history, and was subsequently added to the Queensland Heritage Register in 2009. Today, the Sanctuary is home to native mammals, reptiles, birdlife and amphibians as well as some exotic species. Strong support from locals and the emergence of ecotourism has allowed the Sanctuary to thrive since its inception. The educational public park continues to provide vital breeding and conservation programs, and lorikeets still flock to the arena twice daily to be fed by the equally delighted visitors.

Because our boats are the most advanced jet boats in Australia, they are faster, more manoeuvrable and feature the highest levels of safety, comfort & performance. Later we proceed to Warner Bros. Movie World is a 16.8 hectare film studio theme park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, and Australia. Owned and operated by Village Roadshow's Theme Parks division, the park opened on 3 June 1991.
